Hi all. I thought I would start a blog to keep everyone updated on my progress. Everything is going well. I am in the midst of Cycle 5 of chemotherapy. One more complete cycle and we'll be ready to run all the tests again to check the progress. As you all know, our tests back on March 12th, were very positive. The two largest tumors had shrunk by more than 50%. This left us very hopeful that our prayers will be answered and the cancer will disappear for good this time!!
I've had no major side effects with the current chemo drugs, such as vomiting or losing my hair. Unfortunately I've suffered from the more annoying less serious ones. But, they are tolerable in the midst of what could be.
The doctor will have a new plan for us once we know the outcome of our next set of tests. Keep the positive thoughts and prayers coming our way. I'm envisioning a CT scan of my lungs showing a sea of black (which is good!)
Casey, the boys, and I have been truly blessed by the showing of support from our families, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Thank you to each of you!! We'll keep you posted! Deb

Deb, I'm so jealous about the JBJ concert. Your pics are amazing. I had box seats and had to go out of town for work and missed it. Also, thanks for this update blog. I've been getting your updates via my mom via your dad, but this is so much better. I think about you often and you and your family are always in my prayers. Hang tough. You are my hero! Words fail to express to you how we feel about your news!! Fantastic, Awesome, Outstanding, etc - these word just pale in comparison to what is in our hearts. We love you soooo much and pray for you everyday!! Sending all our love to you, Casey, Conor and Brig!!!
