Good news from my last appointment!! After approx. 7-8 weeks without my chemo pill my tumors have not grown. This means we should be okay for the summer! YEA!!! I've also lowered my dosage of Tykerb to minimize most of my side effects. So, hopefully that will help and my summer will be full of fun and sun!!!
Also, Debra's Circle of Friends is raising money again this year for the Kansas City Race for the Cure. However, we are asking people to send us just $1.00. The boys and I thought it would be fun to see how much money we can raise by just asking for $1.00 donations. Also, we are asking everyone to email everyone they know asking them to send us $1.00. Donations can be mailed to my home address. Let me know if you need that information! Hopefully we can reach a lot of people and beat our fundraising total from last year which was $5000!
Mark your calendars for the Kansas City Race... it is Sunday, August 9th!!
