A couple of weeks ago we went to St. Louis for a mini-vacation. We had a great time. The Royals were playing the Cardinals so we went to a game. Royals won!! We also visited the Zoo, the City Museum, and the Arch. The boys got to ride the metrorail (which they thought was cool). They also got to ride in a horse/carriage ride. Mom always wanted to do this. Let's just say it is not as romantic and fairytale as it looks! Try bumpy and smelly! ha ha
The zoo was really nice. The penguin exhibit was one of our favorites! They also had a dinosaur exhibit that was taking place. They weren't too realistic looking as was claimed. But, Brigham still loved it. He still says he wants to be an archeoligist when he grows up.
After two days in St. Louis we drove to Farmington to spend the weekend with Casey's sister's family. It was a great little getaway!
