Boys Basketball

The boys' basketball seasons are over. Conor's team was in the 6th / 7th grade league this year. Being 6th graders, with only 3 tall kids out of 13 kids, we had some tough competition. I think some of those teams we played against had kids that were a foot taller than a lot of our boys. They were huge! Can't wait for our boys to hit their growth spurts! Hopefully it happens soon!
They had a great season and ended up with 6 wins and 6 losses.




This is an example... see the guy in yellow with his arm up in the air... that is Conor behind him. You can image if the guy was standing with his feet together.. oh yea, add a few more inches! This was a pretty typical scene for Conor... he always had to guard the tall guys. But, he handled it great and always had his hands in their face! Below is Conor's team....

Brigham's team was composed of all 4th graders. He played in a 4th/5th grade league. It was our first year together as a team. They had an awesome season. 5 wins, 1 tie, and 1 loss. Casey was roped into playing by yours truly. But, he really enjoyed it and had a great bunch of boys who all paid attention and wanted to learn. He was definitely spoiled!! The last time he coached basketball was Conor's kindergarten team... let's just say they have a much longer attention span these days!

NOW.... on to baseball!!! Here comes summer, YEA!!
