Deb's Latest Update 6/3/2010

Nothing really new to report. I saw my doctor before we left for Antigua (pictures are below... it was great, take a look!)

The insurance denied my scans a few weeks ago. The doctor wasn't too worried since my last scans were stable. Still two small (hopefully dead) tumors. We scheduled my next followup for July. I'll have a full round of scans at that time. I guess it had only been 6 or 7 weeks so they denied them. We were doing them every 9 weeks, but my doctor wanted to get a before going off the meds scan. No biggy!

I am off all meds, except my injection every 3 weeks. It has been wonderful. I guess I didn't realize how much better I would feel by being off everything. It is going to be a wonderful summer. We have another trip planned the first of July. We are taking the kiddos to Boston/NYC with Casey's sister and her family. We are really excited. I am getting spoiled this summer with two vacations. I am definitely not complaining!

I probably won't post another update until mid July. Look for an email coming soon about the Race for the Cure in August. I believe we are almost ready with our website and will send everyone an email soon about how to signup. Looking forward to seeing everyone then!
